Steampunk Costume Design

A design I had for a costume based on some of the pieces I already had laying around.......

The basic story is that a young lady of some means was riding in a low altitude steam hover craft carriage when she "fell" out and crushed half of her body.... Pronounced dead and missing, she awakes later on a table in a scientist's lab, the crushed half of her body replaced by steam powered mechanics..........
